About Me
Since 2005 I have consulted on scholarly literature in the fields of economics, statistics, and social science for professors from around the world. In 2019, I received my MSc in Social Research Methods from University College London and am currently seeking opportunities to apply my training as a researcher in the areas of education, development, and public policy.
The aim of my work as an editor has been an extension of that of my teaching years: to see my clients become effective and successful writers. To accomplish this, I apply a highly communicative style, making suggestions that my clients may use to steer their development. However you choose to engage my services, I will make your manuscript persuasive and compelling, both for your reviewers and for your future readers. Articles that I have edited have been published in the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Consumer Research, and the Journal of Business Research, among many others, and my clients have included professors, business schools, and university publishing houses.
Included in the Service
Your edited manuscript will show all of the changes I have committed (using Word’s “track changes” function) as well as my comments and recommendations in the margins. In addition to addressing matters of style and rhetoric, changes to your text will resolve inconsistencies with the target journal’s style guide or, in case of any ambiguity therein, the journal's own back catalog. Formatting, punctuation, spelling, reference style, and other matters of presentation will all conform to the prevailing usage in the journal itself.
I am versed in both UK and US English. Many journals will demand the use of one or the other, but if not, and if you have a preference for one, please let me know so that this is reflected throughout the finished manuscript.
Rates and Turnaround
My charges for a first-submission manuscript range from US$10 to US$14 per page of double-spaced text in 11-point Times New Roman, with one-inch margins all around. For a conditionally accepted manuscript, my charges are considerably lower, usually in the realm of US$8 per page. If you require an estimate, I will be happy to provide one.
Formatting and checking of references is mandatory for initial submissions, ranging from US$0.50 to US$1 apiece. This includes identifying inconsistencies between the body text and the reference list.
For most projects, turnaround time is typically five business days. With sufficient forewarning, it can be as short as two calendar days.

Payment is accepted by US domestic and international wire transfer (in US dollars), and through TransferWise or PayPal (in your local currency).
